'Appearing to' is doing a lot of heavy lifting in this post.First bit may be true. 2nd bit not so much. I'm not going to look this up but my own 'comprehensive study' is based on living in Windmill Road for 33 years, between Whitestile and Darwin Roads. My study noted that while rush-hour traffic would back up as far as my flat once or twice a week at most, after LTNs, this became every day, twice a day. And not just to Darwin: Carlyle Road, Murray Road and beyond. Lots of E2 buses, stranded. All these vehicles, spewing out exhaust fumes, while the Mayor of London pontificates about ULEZ and the icle children. All of it so much nonsense. But let's take this at face value. So what is better? 100 vehicles moving around fairly freely, or 60 vehicles (hoorah!) stuck in a traffic jam spewing out dangerous. pollutants. Our choice, before it was too late, was to sell up and leave Ealing/Brentford forever. Heartbreaking. I loved West London, but it's a lost cause.
