A minor flare -up. Sahel comes to Ealing

Today I noticed three pocket parks tinder dry with straw, dry branches and full of litter in West Ealing and Acton ready to catch fire. Where are the people now who imposed them on us? One parklet was within 30m of a park so was clearly not needed anyway. An eyesore and a danger.

The Sahel has always been home to nomadic tribes and wandering herbivores. Using the same language my councillors preferred "roving surgeries" rather than the real thing. Maybe now they Rai and Shaw could rove up to leeland Road (Farmers' Market) to see the now quenched parklet. This that no resident asked for and no one wanted.Just another £4,000  wasted; oh x 3 = £12,000. Do readers know of any more?

No chance. Not while they can point out their green credentials while sticking up more and more oversized tower blocks.

Can't help suspecting that the recent fashion for letting parts of our parks go 'wild' is to save money on mowing. Now these areas have become a fire hazard, as well as reducing the places where children can run around and kick a ball about, it's time for a rethink.

More concerning are the several parks that have borders left to 'wild' which now threaten the backs of homes, rear gardens trees and sheds.Either the long grasses need to be cut or the borders watered.I note too that several parks have now CCTV cameras on every entrance.Yet my Daughter has noted that there are people in the park {in this case Lammas) most nights till 2am with mini barbecues or having a smoke>So what is the point of the Cameras?

Said deposed leader is now touting himself out as a ‘consultant’. Goodness knows what his area of expertise actually is. Perhaps how to acquire social housing without needing it, or how to kowtow to developers, or perhaps the dangers of onanism.

What did you expect from disingenuous virtue signalling politicized Jehovah Witnesses from the Labour Party. They put up unnessary green spaces, just to show off their ego. All in the name of "protecting public services".
