Well done England! A hard fought 2-1 win over Spain and into the semi-finals of the Euros. England’s number 9, Chloe Kelly, is from Ealing and attended Elthorne Park High School.

This is one occasion when I can say I am in complete agreement with you Mr King.

I'd suggest the freedom of Loftus Road as she is an ex player and a life long supporter

Absolutely Marvellous! This time Freedom of the Borough ( Not that it means much in this Borough) is justified as this is a truly achievement with mission accomplished.Well done to all, who supported them one way or another through all the lesser years.

A wonderful performance against Sweden by The Lionesses. No diving or faking it just good football pure and simple. On to the final at Wembley on Sunday. Good luck ladies

£210.00 if you want the hospitality package of a match ticket, a two-course lunch and a welcome glass of something a short walk from the ground in Fulham Palace. You do get a 'free' programme though so it's a bargain :-)

ouch. For £100 I would expect more than just a football match!

Crowds of 2000 were not that uncommon for midweek games back in the day. Given that Fulham are charging £100 per seat for their fixture against Liverpool they probably don't need many (with the TV money) anyway. Guess they have to pay for their newer stand somehow.

I used to 'alternate' between Rangers, Fulham and B/Ford in the 70's.I am sure i was at Fulham on a Tues/wednesday with a crowd below 2000,but I may have got that wrong

Bring on Sweden.
Knew about her going to Elthorne but didn't know she was an R.
One heck of a match. Classic Spain, classy on the ball and lots of possession but not many shots on target. What a brilliant strike to seal it, which must make England now one of the favourites to win it.I'm at Brentford tonight for the Germany v Austria game. That has the makings of being a cracker too.

NV: So you missed Tommy Lawton's debut for the Bees and his classic first goal?
Jim Lawes ● 1147d
