Hanwell Carnival & Dog Show Tomorrow 18 June

I’m really surprised at the lack of advertising for the Hanwell Carnival tomorrow When I was a kid this would be one of the highlights of the summer, all roads would lead to Elthorne Park.Admittedly I’m not an avid attender these days but I do usually go along for the dog show.Not sure what time things start but assume around midday or so??

Well said. I know many of the people who have been on the committee over the years and they do put a lot of hard work in to efforts to make the Carnival a success. A particular good effort from Billets Hart Allotment with their produce on sale...

The crowds thronged to Elthorne Park yesterday, I can't recall it being that busy for many a year. The park is wonderfully clean and tidy this morning after the clear up.Thank you and congratulations to everybody who was involved in the organisation and running of this wonderful community event.

Sadly not, as the after effects of my spinal virus have left me with . Severe mobility issues.  We used to display one in our window every year. Happy to do that.

Are you able to volunteer next year to help put notices up?There are a fair few around this year.
