Labour retains control in Ealing because their voter base of "Takers" and "Benefitters" outnumbers the Opposition's "Givers/Payers."And among "benefitters" I include those who "benefit" from such things as planning decisions, etc, know wot I mean? 😉

And that would be ok.It takes many elections before the scales fall from voters eyes - As long as you are happy with the services you receive and the other matters such as dangerous bikes lanes.

I'm in the Hanger Hill part of the People's Republic. Missed the Liberals knocking at my door yesterday but their leaflet was asking why the Conservatives hadn't got our streets cleaned recently. Firstly it's down to the so called Socialist wasters to do just that which they have done twice last month and secondly why don't they spend their energy on another part of Ealing that is currently Labour so their majority can be reduced. Merely targeting the Tories isn't serving the good folk of the borough that have had more than enough of Labour.

As of today I am officially standing for UKIP in Ealing CommonWe have a full manifesto and when elected I will serve the residents and businesses of Ealing Common.The council is a shambles. Bike lanes are dangerous for all and high tower block a blight. This has to stop. I will make good on these issues.

Problem is UKIP have a reputation of being only representative of a segment of our society.This council is shafting a very wide gamut of society and relying on those it claims to be the 'friend' of.  The have nots are are taken for granted and propped up by Ealing's legions of well heeled champagne socialists who believe they know best.But of course are insulated enough to not be affected by what much of the Council does.Mainstream politicians very fickle. Many now realise that, but do not see any sincerity of other parties and this will simply vote Labour by default albeit  reluctantly.So how will UKIP address that?It is those people who need to be won over.  Tories don't bother and Lib Dems fare no better.In my view it's  Independent locals with no party allegiance that will break this cycle of morally corrupt ways.Notable is just how many independents stand and win in the City of London.So it can be done.
