Dr Bike and Free Online Cycle Training

Dr Bike is at Ealing Farmers Market. 12 March 10-12noon.Check out the website for all other dates, venues, times and actvities.Book yourself onto Cycle Training to brush up on your cycling confidence.And don't forget there's a new Highway Code you can read on www.gov.org.uk.      There's something for everybody whether you are a motorist, cyclist, scooterist or pedestrian.

More likely to be the running down of state provision and privatising of everything possible.  Where is all the adult education we used to be able to access when our work prospects were changed by job automation?Please send your constructive feedback to the Minister for Transport and those trying to teach the youngsters of today as well as those who have been frightened off the roads by aggressive traffic how to cycle on our roads.

I thought this was a joke but it is serious when Jullien Bell's pals get cushy jobs.Bet the good Training was in Tory boroughs as it used to be only cops who ran cycling proficiency courses. It is sadly the least rediculous trait of Ealing Council that bad trainers are allowed.

Very good is Dr Bike.But did the cycle training and found it way short of what I would expect as a good standard and not a patch on the cycling proficiency test taken at age 12 which was far more thorough.I think all instructors need to be Police/RoSPA trained and licensed so as to provide a uniform standard. That's why the original RoSPA /Met Police Cycling Proficiency course and test was so effective. A standard level wherever you took it.I've done a few of these out of curiosity. One can't comment if one can't try and compare.Best one by far was an urban cycling course run by Camden Council which I did during a work location there about 4 years ago.  Really rather good especially on spacial awareness, etiquette and how effective that is and reading the road.
