Sneaky LTN backdoor alternative

I read in the paper a new policy adopted on 2 occasions to my knowledge, new road restrictionsFirstly a no left turn sign off Olive Rd (to motorists) to enable access to South Ealing Road.2) is to prevent left turn from Springbridge Rd/Haven Green into Gordon Rd,Effectively closing the road & channelling traffic down the main roads as an alternative to foolhardy LTNs

IN Ealing Road, speeding Moped riders run the speed camera with their tuber plates obscured often at well over 40mph, over taking buses and other vehicles  and often either side of the vehicles, others ride along the pavement as it is not in the camera field of view or zig zag across the grass and along a side road and back on to Ealing road.All this goes unchallenged and unenforced yet TfL and the met are quite happy doling out fines to vehicles for doing just over 20mph over just 10 m section of road.It's complete double standards. Stay on the road and get a fine for 23mph or ride at speed quite deliberately or wilfully off the public highway and get away scot free.It sends out completely the wrong example.  A cash cow rather than a safety priority and a primer greater of absolute safety abuse.As it is that camera ought to be placed 100 meters further back where it can cover the junctions of New Road and Burford Road which are now hazardous from the amount of people using them wrongly.

You don't see cyclists wheeling their bikes very often nowadays, do you?  A lot of them could do with bells too so that they can warn pedestrians when  approaching from behind on the paths through the parks and that shared pavement space that's marked with blue signs.

Speed limits DO NOT APPLY TO PAVEMENTS as no vehicle except a pedestrian controlled invalid carriage limited to 4 mph should be on the pavement and that includes bicycles.

There are plenty of speed limits to a safer speed for all of those using the roads and pavements but there still seem to be people with an overinflated sense of their own entitlement to break those as well.

I don't think the No Left Turns always work. The NLT and No Entry signs are regularly ignored by rat runners in Tangmere Gardens in Northolt.

All deliberate to increase traffic on quieter roads to create a 'demand' for LTNs.Funny how a political party opposed to so many dictatorial regimes, adopts the methods of some of those from past history.
