Hanwell Station.

Hanwell Station seems to have disappeared from GWR timetable/maps (which are no longer published in paper/booklet form, I believe?).Is the station now 'owned' (administered) by TfL?

Heathrow Express uses the *high speed rails* between Paddington and Heathrow, always has. I think you may be thinking of Heathrow Connect. Heathrow Connect were replaced by Tfl Rail in 2018.

Another question.  Do 'Heathrow Express' trains still exist?  If so, we have three types of train/service on the Paddington rail tracks?

"Serious question, how can one tell whether a train is TfL or GWR?"One is green and the other isn't. GWR is green. TfL is white with purple stripe and says "Tfl Rail".

Thank you Jim. I did a round trip to Windsor recently (had builders installing a new boiler, so wanted to get out of the way). Brentford to Windsor Riverside - had never been on that route before, and recently seeing Michael Portillo's rail journey. Used Freedom pass to Feltham, then ticket to Windsor. Back from Windsor central to Hanwell, paying for ticket from Windsor to West Drayton. Now know could have saved a bit coming back.Will try with the free bus route next time.

It does stop at Hayes & Harlington.Highlight the link in Tony's post and it shows the timetable effective 12th December

I got this this morning, it's all change change change at the the moment so I'm not sure writing this stuff down is a good idea!From Sunday 12 December, five current Great Western Railway semi-fast peak services between Reading/Maidenhead and Paddington will be operated by TfL Rail. These services will include additional stops at Ealing Broadway, West Drayton and Burnham. Journey times may change by one to two minutes. This is in preparation for the opening of the Elizabeth line. To plan your journey, visit our website or use TfL Go. The new timetable is now available to view online.

No..I don't think the branch lines are free with the Freedom Pass. A recommend trip is..take the train to Slough..a Bus Station adjoins. ..where a free bus to Windsor Town Centre awaits..then on the same bus to Heathrow bus station All can be enjoyed for a free jolly.When you're 82 it helps to pass the time!

Only recently found that the Freedom pass allows travel on tfl services all the way to Reading. Does this include the branch lines: Slough to Windsor, Maidenhead - Marlow and Twyford - Henley?

Under TfL Rail, customers will benefit from improvements to their stations including improved customer information and new lifts within the next year. Thank you for your replies.  Does anybody know of a website that shows a timetable for Paddington<>Reading trains, that is inclusive of *all* the relevant stations?  My intention is to print/make my own booklet timetable.
