South Ealing Road

I wonder why there are so many problems there. The post office has been closed for ages because of 'anti-social behaviour'. Then last night the local police were out in what ought to be quiet residential roads, breaking up 'anti-social behaviour'. Not late at night but in the middle of the evening. I only go there during the day and all seems peaceful so what happens after dark. I seem to remember someone saying long ago that there were a lot of drug dealers.

Motorist are easy targets whether you go over the speed limit by 3 miles an hour or drive down the road that the council has excluded motor vehicles from, its easy money...The problem with catching criminals take a lot of time and effort and resources. The current government and mayor has lost the plot and we will only see things get worse. Khan talks the talk but does nothing. Boris thinks pepper pig will get him through the problems and see him through to the election and the electorate will forgive him and vote them back in.. God help us...

I am glad to hear that the police are doling out speeding fines for 24 mph in Ealing/South Ealing Road. I've not observed this (I live on South Ealing Road) but I have observed a large numbers of vehicles driven at over 40 mph. Has anyone seen these vehicles stopped?

It seems pretty clear that the Police are being instructed from Higher Office to leave some offences and dangerous actions well alone.Having just helped a neighbour fill in the speeding prosecution from the Met for just 3mph over the 20 mph zone which is so officious that you would thing she has committed a serious crime, and the acute stress and worry it caused her, it drives it home at the absolute double standards going.

I’ve seen plenty of drug dealing going on in broad daylight in the cemetery there. Not sure I’d want to stand and film them doing it though, given the propensity of these individuals to carry knives.The police presence in South Ealing is negligible these days, and even when they are about they ignore ‘minor crime’.

All the mopeds in Ealing BDWY o/s McDs who block & close the bus Lane.Maybe you mean Acton where they take over loading bays for deliveries??

Also, surely the police can use whatever mode of transport the druggies are using and twice as fast? Just a thought.

I remember that pizza delivery used to be the way years ago so with all the deliveries that now happen what can you expect?

Mopeds, E scooters and Bikes are the key tool in crime of this nature.One only has to ask why anyone would ride an E scooter or Bike wearing black, hooded and with no lights in dark areas?It's to avoid being seen. And E scooters are also silent.  Maybe they should all have beepers that sound every moment its moving.Just as bad, Mopeds with flaps over their number plates and being ridden through parks and at speed on roads. The cars are simply distribution units and won't be racing around until rival gangs fall out.

Whilst the Metropolitan Police dole out speeding fines for 24mph in Ealing Road yet nothing for moped riders who use the pavements and others who come out of the wrong way of a one way road,They do not even appear to enforce the huge amount of illegal drug dealing, loitering and dodgy goings on from Ealing Road in Brentford right up to South Ealing Station.At a certain  fast Food restaurant is is quite normal now to see delivery riders smoking dope walking around in the darkness and pedestrian walk to the side of the establishment.There is utter lawlessness and yet all the focus is on prosecuting minor and trivial offences because its easy money and affects no-one so no need for victim support or costly lawyers.And while they are busy fining for 3mph over a speed limit, serious crimes get committed and even the warning signs get ignored or dismissed.The law should be even handed but it is becoming a place where deliberate evasion and barefaced flagrance go unabated.

West Ealing and Hanwell Broadway are very unpleasant at night too.  Open drug selling (including at the side of Hanwell Lidl), and blatant street drinking in the alleged 'No Alcohol Zone'. The spiralling disintegration of society continues unabated.

Apparently loads of drug dealers around Occupation Lane spreading onto South Ealing Road. Not helped by the fact that the police cannot pursue the drug dealers because LB Hounslow blocked the road with concrete planters so no police car can get through. I certainly wouldn't walk around that area now, even in daytime.
