Better than Madhu? Surely not!Better than the Brilliant in Western Road? Really!Wow: Just announcednot just a contender for the top spot..but the WINNER...Haweli at 127-129 Uxbridge Road,West Ealing...(based on customer satisfaction.Fancy that!Any observations?

I've only just noticed this post, so apologies for not replying earlier.We've been eating at the Haweli for many years and always found the food excellent.  Each dish is properly individually spiced and not prey to what I call the 'brown gloop' or 'tastes overwhelmingly of tomatoes' schools of Indian cuisine.Well deserved award IMO.
