Don't forget the ULEZ Expansion comes into effect 25 October

I do hope that nobody is going to be taken by surprise by this next week.  Use the Tfl Ulez checker to find out if your car is compliant or not.

Tfl says Congestion charge,  You do not need to pay for any other charging zonesIf you do not see the Congestion Charge, Ultra Low Emisssion Zone charge or the Low Emission Zone charge displayed above, it means that your vehicle meets the emissions standard, or the charging zone does not apply to this type of vehicle.

Some petrol cars from 2001 are Euro 4 compliant, my 2003 is and cars from 2005 and vans from 2006 are.

apart from  adverts which are incorrectly declaring ALL vehicles over 6 years old are liable for the charge which is totally incorrect. It is in fact,Diesels over 6 years.Also the expeditions for other vehicles contradict with TfL sending emails with exemptions whilst the website says chargeable.And it's been like this for months and not corrected.

It won’t do much for air quality but will raise £2million A DAY for TfL (as reported in last night Evening Standard). Guess the real motive.
