Name for new cinema

Such a shame that a great idea for locals to come up with a name for the new small cinema in Ealing Broadway is for Twitter users only.It's bad enough with whole sections of local community not having a voice unless 100% online and hooked to social media.It kind of indicates that only a certain kind of demographic is going to be preferred for the venue.  Or was this an omission in the W5 report?

Already a Pub nearby named after Sir Michael Balcon.The Northfields Odeon became the Coronet in it's latter years

How about "The Balcon" after the great Sir Michael? Or may be "The Coronets" after one of the greatest films to come out of the studios - Kind Hearts and Coronets.

I'm going to plagiarise a film buff friend who is a third generation Ealingite ( if that's the term!Either the Bijou ( From the Ealing Film with Virginia Travers Bill TraversPeter Sellers, Leslie Phillips a brilliant film about a small cinema ) or revive the much loved Walpole Cinema name.The amazing frontage of the Walpole Cinema survives albeit stuffed away off Mattock Lane.I'm told that it was going to be incorporated into the development in Bond Street but in the end Concrete and glass prevailed.
