Anybody fancy a wager?

I know it's a hideous thought, but should Mason and his cronies be elected back in charge of Ealing Council next May . . . .  the LTN's will be back in place within days after the election?I would say it's a 100:1 dead cert.

You need to offer better odds! But I'd bet they come back with a different name and we'll be told they're nothing like LTNs.

You don't trust him.  I don't trust him.  Here is an email I sent to him on the 20th. It explains why. Dear Peter Mason,You promised transparency in the Council’s engagement with the public.  And you wrote, “Do email me on peter.mason@ealing.gov.uk to raise specific issues about the Borough”. I did THREE MONTHS AGO.My assumption was that, if I wrote you, you would do something about the matter I put to you.  It was a serious matter: corruption in the Council’s complaints procedure, involving its most senior officers. I have not received even the courtesy of an acknowledgement despite two reminders (19.7.21. and 18.8.21). Do you intend to respond?  YES or NO?  Can the people of Ealing trust you to keep your word?  Your response (or lack of one) will tell us what we need to know  in respect of your suitability  to hold public office.Yours sincerely,Andrew Farmer
