Ealing Council Website problems

Has anyone else experienced problems using the Ealing Council Website recently?I have tried to log a report since Thursday as my Garden Waste Wheelie Bin was not emptied   going around in circles I was unable to complete the report.I then rang Ealung Council and after some time finally spoke to a staff member. She tried the Website but had the same problem. I was told to complain to the council.All I wanted was to report the problem with non collection of my Garden Rubbish.I sent an email to the new Leader of the Council, which was returned by the Postmaster, undelivered.Mist frustrating.

Thanks for all your helpful comments.  I do wish one could report missed collections on the 24/7 app.I actually use this app as I was a Streetwatcher before that was abolished and regularly report dumped items nd so on.

I thoroughly recommend using the LoveCleanStreets app on your phone which completely bypasses the website and normally works extremely efficiently. It can be used for street lighting faults, dumping/fly tipping, roads/pavement problems etc etc but sadly not missed waste collections

I wondered why I had problems logging in to report that our two street lights have now been on 24/7 for 13 days now. Might be (have to be careful of Phillipa here) why I haven't received a reply from either Mr Mason or Mrs/Miss Costigan to explain why that is when we have an energy crisis coming up

When you fail to get your garden waste collected contact your ward councillors and also Jackie O’Reilly on VIPstreets@ealing.gov.uk. She’s in charge of that area.Beware she may try to fob you off with an apology and a ‘it will get collected next time’. You should respond that as it’s a paid for service they should refund you a couple of quid. That usually gets them to come out.And don’t accept any excuses about bins not being presented for collection. Sometimes they just can’t be bothered to do them.
