Meanwhile, Tony and his lovely family at Atlantis on Pitshanger Lane now offer a full takeaway service for those who don't wish to dine in at the restaurant. Ate there this evening the food is, as ever, wonderful.

Didn’t happen unfortunately. We spoke to the owner again today and he apologises for the continuing delay but this is due to unforeseen circumstances. He does now expect to reopen next Tuesday, 14th September. We used to eat there 2 or 3 times a month so we sorely miss going. Fingers crossed it will happen this time

Walked past today. Notice about reopening has been removed and place is still dead-looking. Windows and door are covered, so you can't see inside. Will be a shame to lose the place.

Some places are taking ages to resume trading. I was in Rye yesterday at a restaurant that has only just reopened. New staff took time to train and get up to speed. All may not be lost.

I do hope they reopen. Can't wait to go again.Unlike Brasserie Blanc where we wasted a lot of money on seriously inferior food the other day.
