thanks for the tip but they have really draconian lockdown rules that i cannot tolerate , i find it difficult to play table tennis with a bin liner on my head i have my own table and equipment so can make my own arrangements

Try Actonians Sports and Social Club - they have both Chess and Table Tennis clubs ( league standard )
