Rupa Huq vote Labour feature

As someone who would not vote for either this rubbish council or that small non entity of a mayor, can we have an even hand please? Free publicity for people who are widely despised by some of us in Ealing should extend to every party surely?

i think Rupa is a nice person , i met her outside Waitrose once BUT she is a conformist who is just interested in a cushy career , she would be better suited to a Guardian column perhaps , what Ealing needs is INDEPENDENTS  the party political nature of local government is a dismal failure , only GENUINE INDEPENDENTS can improve things

You can vote until 10.00 pm so it is a bit naughty. If they don't take it down I will ask my son who to complain to as he works for a national newspaper

Er, it’s called polling day. The actual poll is the election.The convention for local publishers was always to avoid any political posts on the day. There was an article by Gary Malcolm last Saturday but nothing recent from the Conservatives. One might assume there’s some bias involved. Who knows.The best option for London would be to abolish the Mayor and London Assembly. Neither is fit for purpose.
