Coronavirus cases in Ealing

A front page article"Some areas of Ealing have seen cases double again in a week" .....is described as attributed as follows, "Written with contributions from Anahita Hossein-Pour - Local Democracy Reporter"Would anyone know why the "areas" featured have no municipal reference such as ward boundaries and in some cases refer to either a road or an imprecise area. Maybe it's helpful to know if a road suffers more cases than others but then what about very nearby neighbouring roads for example."Bedford Park", for example is an area with a variety of definitions other than with the architectural filter.I think my question is where does the data come from?

The geographic division of the area is based on Middle Super Output Areas which are derived by the Office of National Statistics. They divide local authority areas into roughly equal population sizes. They don't use ward boundaries because these are revised more often. The designation of areas seems to be quite accurate and self explanatory but there is probably a detailed map available somewhere online if you are unsure in which one you live. There is an NHS beta site that goes very specific to locations.I've not used it so don't have a link for it. But probable can be found with a bit of searching.
