Renaming of Havelock Road

Havelock Road is a continuation of Western Road, so if "Havelock" for reasons long ago and far-away is disliked as a name why not Extend the name "Western Road" to include the Temple. This would minimise confusion as few actual addresses are on this section of road, providing they do agree. Changing names of roads is an unnecessary diversion from the huge issues facing the UK, and Ealing (Loss of airport related jobs)

The whole episode has been politically motivated, manipulated and contrived, it's all complete nonsense garbage.No-one from any background gave a toss about the innocouous name of this road before but the PC Lefty Woke Liberals just had to get on the bandwagon and go and stir it up, it's THEM that are deliberately causing the social unrest.As if LBE hasn't got slightly more important stuff than this idiocy to deal with.

The decision to rename the road should NOT have been made until the officer responsible (Edward Axe)  had reported to the Cabinet on the latest “statutory consultation”.  I have written to Mr Axe to have him clarify the matter. Just the latest “error” in a process that that has been riddled with sharp-practice from the outset.  DO WE EVEN KNOW WHO PROPOSED THE NAME CHANGE in the first place?  The person who did should have paid for the service.  The only individual whose name has been attached to the proposal is JULIAN BELL.  All my efforts to extract the name of the proposer and date of the proposal have been thwarted.  It appears no one did.  It somehow or other just happened.  It appears we have been obliged to pay to be cheated of due process!  MORE TO FOLLOW TO EXPOSE THIS FIXED CONSULTATION.

Ms Bailey's post is over the top but hey ho, we have free speech here.For the time being.Well, sort of.    😊How many gave/give a toss about "Havelock Road", let alone knew or cared anything about its history? ZERO I'd say.Until, as you point out, BellEnd stirs it up needlessly with his idiocy.Using OUR money.

Havelock Road is what it is. F*ck Bell and his loons. Why should a non-native community (or is it three communities?) tell us we cannot have our names?This needs a full movement to reverse it.If the IRA can fight us for taking their name from the provinces, we need a similar movement here to put our British Names (and statues) back where they have always existed.Bell has a genuine fight on his hands now, I am absolutely disgusted those Southall communities from now on, Sikhs (who fought with Havelock) included, In fact I hate the sight of them.

There are far more importent things to spend money that we don't really have on.The irresponsibility and waste at LBE is careless and petty.Just how many non jobs and pointless appointments have they implemented that went out with the previous looney left of the 1980s which also caused more division than good.
