Pitshanger Park Crime - Is it displacement?

One thing that struck me when reading about the issues that Pitshanger Park is currently having with crime is that it was only a few months ago that Walpole Park had the same problems. It seems possible that the police are now in a game of wack-a-mole with the local criminal element and that all they can hope to do is get them to relocate when they launch a crackdown. Pitshanger Park will get the extra attention now but the problem will displace to another park and another neighbourhood will be blighted. The service doesn't have the numbers for a comprehensive lasting solution.

Spare a thought for the drug dealers. It looks like social distancing requirements have made their activities much more conspicuous. A group of people gathered together in a park clearly not from the same houseold is always going to attract the attention of the police. Better lighting and the presence of a skate park seem to have displaced some of the crime from Acton Park which used to be a bit of a haven for drug dealers.

As far as I am aware they are generally after dark with school children on the way home being particularly targeted. Notting Hill and Ealing and St Benedict's have issued warnings to pupils. However robberies have also taken place in broad daylight particularly at the weekend.

Are these incidents happening after dark (way too early at this time of year!) or in broad daylight?
