E2/E8 bus routes

On an E2 yesterday when an announcement was displayed about a diversion, followed by the driver making a further announcement which it was impossible to understand, then it took a diversion around Gordon Rd (I think) and ended up going round Haven Green. On my return waiting opposite the Town Hall an E8 appeared from Bond Street, not having shown up on the display. What is going on with these routes?

On Monday was surprised to see an E8 turn left off the Uxbridge Road, down Culmington and the I assume right onto Mattock Lane

Res but it's always been a single lane road. Wider pavements will mean in increased chance of you getting your head clipped by a bus or truck mirror as the vehicles will now be close to the kerb.It's exactly why the pavement was never widened in the first place.And it is not so narrow that two cannot walk side by side.  Two generations of my family lived nearby and took prams up and down everyday.But now complete lunacy has replaced common sense.

A bit late in the day to be replying but Springbridge Road was closed to traffic whilst the pavement on the west side was being widened where it had been very narrow. And before we get a whole lot of complaints from those wedded to their cars about wider pavements: it was long overdue - the pavement was hardly wide enough for two extremely good friends walking side by side, let alone wide enough for one person to pass someone walking in the opposite direction.

The delays on routes 65 and now on the E2 195 and E8 are getting stupid.But I note that whilst TfL make it very easy to print out your very own Mask wearing exemption card, it remains almost impossible to report the widespread non compliance on local routes 207 and 237 in particular nor to question the prolonged exposure passengers are being subjected to risking a higher chance of cover contraction.Not a word. Because part of it is road works being so badly co-ordinated but much to do with road restrictions for cycle space and the noticeable new congestion near LTNs. Northfields Ave and Bostn Manor Road as well as the Uxbridge road being way more congested than before and congestion where there has never been any.So how, TfL and Ealing, does this help Covid? Being stuck on a bus for up to 3 times the normal journey time?Why won't any of these people behind this answer any of these simple questions privately or publicly?

The wonder of TFL & Ealing Council.Springbridge Rd is shut, but don’t expect any info or extra roads open to alleviate traffic congestion
