I live on flats in Felix Road, the first I knew about road closures was “junk” mail which I nearly didn’t open. I know many neighbours have no idea but from Sunday we all have a good mile de tour to turn left out of our road but going all the way around the block back to where we started.If the planters start by Waitrose where are they all going to turn around given nothing stopping them driving into Alexander road and no space to do a 3 point turn as it is. I sat and counted the number of cyclist in the morning and from 8-930 it’s average 2!!!! There already is significantly less traffic since covid even though people are at work and school. I hope everyone is prepared for all the extra traffic going through 6 sets of traffic on the broadway and up the hill, to get 100 yards further down the road.

It is likely that the council have been genuinely shocked by the level of opposition to the scheme. They probably were initially encouraged by some vocal individuals on Twitter and Facebook and took their views to be representative. Therefore they didn't really feel it was necessary to inform or explain the plans to residents and no press or publicity was done as they believed once the brilliance of their ideas became apparent they would be roundly thanked and applauded. The problem was they appeared to be acting in a secretive and underhand way so, even people who might have been persuaded about the logic of the schemes started off suspicious and unwilling to give the council the benefit of the doubt. If you act as if you have something to hide, people will think you have something to hide. The latest proposal is just a doubling down and effectively means the LTNs are here to stay. They obviously feel that they can afford to lose a few wards in Northfields and West Ealing and the people who live there were asking to become the cash cows to rescue the borough's shaky finances.

It is VERY simple, you will get nowhere, until youVOTE BELL OUT.And we have no idea if the Conservatives would be any better, but surely ANYTHING is better than the continuing idiocy of Bell & Co?

As a delivery driver I despise the council & TFLThe motorist is victimised.Bus lanes do not work.Sheer number of buses clog the bus lane & try to get round each other.Shops, e.g savers, McDonalds, Sainsburys have articulated trucks to deliver offload.Where do they park?????Roadworks, temporary lights.Bikes, scooter uncontrolled - no insurance, fuel costs, speed/parking restrictions.Jump red lights, cycle on pavements, turn left right etc.TFL & Councils cause pollution & congestion

He said yes the whole point was to gridlock main roads to encourage as to walk. Great if you can, but have they actually stopped cars over a day and asked if their journey can be made on foot? Let’s crowd up tube and buses that’s going be amazing with covid. Don’t get me start doing on the “isn’t t lovely and quiet here now” residents. Meanwhile those with constant stationary cars on their road got no mention. I’m betting money on the whole loop being ground to halt. That be Ealing Acton Southall all stuffed!!

Join the club. Mum lives in Raymond Ave, always thought of it as part of Northfields, we'd take her shopping in Northfields Ave, her Surgery and Pharmacy are also on Northfields Ave. But to get Mum to Northfields Avenue now, you have to drive mum past all the Hanwell and West Ealing Shops, so we don't use Northfields Ave shops anymore. We also pass Grosvenor Surgery too.Something stinks in this whole Scenario as Southall has hardly been touched by the LTN schemes, yet is clogged up with traffic.If this is what our Labour Councillors and TFL think is a good way to spend Government money, they are wrong.

Yup - it's completely stupid and will just lead to more traffic and pollution.  Parking to the east of the one-way is also going to be a nightmare.I already contacted the Labour councillors who just brainlessly tow the party line.  Vote them out!
