The troubles in southall broadway
Today in Southall Broadway some of the residents of the street have been noticing an alarming numbers of FLIES invading our rooms. Yes flies. Is this unusual? I have lived in this town for over 30 years and have not experienced such an invasion. Perhaps because there have been new additions to houses being converted into flats and to date building works have been going on for the last 4 years and dragged on endlessly. In one case changing a dwelling house into four flats have been granted planning permission despite wide spread protests by residents. Planning permission was granted by linking a Section A106 with Safeguards attached to the permission. Not signed by any one to this date. The old House was even protected by safeguards against developing by extension to a planning disaster --Blatantly ignored. It was last used as a CANNABIS FARM in every room. The energy services shortwired. No one was asked to answer. This building is now being developed into two flats and extended to house HMO's Only God knows if we residents living in a quiet Cull-de Sac will have to wait another year before our destroyed Gardens and homes will be able to get any answers we would like to put, to our Council. Can any politician show us some interest before more of the same destruction takes place I am sure there will be more. Southall will take on the mantle of a SLUM.
