It is no wonder pollution is growing in the Southall area if they are being deprived of the Low Traffic Neighbourhood schemes that the rest of Ealing is benefitting from. The council assure us these will improve air quality so people need to make the ultimate sacrifice and demand the schemes in their areas be cancelled and new schemes are initiated in the west of the borough. This will mean the people of Southall will have a chance to breathe clean air again (won't it?)

You would think so, but Bell and Sabiers can't afford to upset the Southall 'block vote' and risk losing the £67,000 they take between them from the public purse for their 'service' to the local electorate.

I was being flippant, I thought that would be self-evident. The serious point is though that, if LTNs reduce pollution, they should be introduced first in areas where pollution is high.

Au contraire, are you joking? There is definitely no discrimination against Southall, quite the opposite!Have you not heard of The Southall Posse, who control LBE?It is considered that most LTN's ruin neighbourhoods, which is WHY you'll never see them much in Southall.
