Incompetent

Initial drawings for LTN 30.No date. No author. No titleWaldemar Ave labelled as Waldemar RoadQuickly modified yes but wrong and checked? and passed.We live in a LTN already, had our councillors got out or looked at the accident rates and traffic flows. We didn't need one.Now we have barriers in Junction Road too narrow to allow emergency vehicles to pass. Can't anyone in Perceval Castle produce drawings?So thousands slept last night in more danger than they need have been.Now my councillors are replying with TfL data which is not independently verified/peer reviewed. Propaganda?

Twenty years ago I would have definitely given it a shot, for £150 you have nothing to lose.I honestly believe that for any group that is even half organized there is a very real chance of unseating the current Politburo.I also believe that most in the Borough are fed up to the back teeth with local politics and just want a Council that sticks to its day job, and SERVES its residents.

The Local Conservatives in Ealing/Acton are useless, have zero profile, haven't a clue what they're doing, and many (most?) are only in the party for themselves and their career prospects. (That rings a Bell? 😁)  And the way the LibDems often vote on Planning Applications we don't want them anywhere near power.I personally still believe that the only way out of this horrendous impasse is via the RAs fielding Candidates.It's gotta at least be worth a shot.  Last time I looked it was only £350 or so to Register your Political Party, it's V easy and not dissimilar to registering a Company.

Epsom and Ewell does not have large minority groups in the pocket of a certain political party that constantly courts their vote, or a large student population that is also courted, yet most do not pay a penny in council tax.That's why there is such a huge imbalance in what was for generations a windscreen wiper borough with just a small majority either way.However, even these now long established minority groups are becoming more an demote disenfranchised by their " friend' and it's up to either RAs to assert their inclusion or for the conservatives to get their finger out and start putting in the effort that Labour do courting voters in all these places.There's plenty dissatisfied but pretty much brainwashed by 'community leaders' to vote just one way.

I have said it many, many times before, I don't understand why the Residents Associations across the Borough don't unite and field RA Candidates at Local Elections.It has worked magnificently for Epsom & Ewell for 80 years!The origins of the RA movement in Epsom and EwellFrom the expansion of housing in the 1930s local Residents’ Associations have given people a forum for local debate. These groups organised social activities on the new estates, and represented local views. At the time of the early 20th century, many candidates for local government stood as independents. Far more than we see in the country today. With increasing party politicisation of national and local government through the years, Epsom & Ewell has stood out against the tide. With no party lists each RA puts up candidates for election to Epsom & Ewell Borough Council based on merit and consensus. Lies everywhere from Tfl, from Govt and from local authorities.Such is the contempt for ordinary people and those whose votes are irrelevant.Playing politics on a grand scale.High time residents fought back and withhold council tax or deduct losses incurred by Councils meddling with peoples  livelihoods

You can trust NOTHING about the Stalinist Regime ensconced at The Ealing Kremlin.As usual, a Big Shout Out and "Thank you!" to the thoroughly misguided people who voted them back in.With an increased majority.Are there really THAT many Students in Ealing/Acton?!!  😁
