Which nice restaurants are offering collection?

Really, really fancy a treat. A restaurant meal would be lovely.Obviously have to be delivered or collected. We don't like delivery (the near-monopoly delivery companies leech on the restaurant and also on their drivers).Very hard to find out which restaurants are offering collection (or even delivery).Almost every restaurant website I look at says nothing about covid and still offers a booking link.There must be lots.Which ones have you used, and would recommend?Thanks!

Côté at home delivers delicious meals from  a good choice of dishes. Most oven ready and suitable for freezing . Fixed delivery charge. £4.95 I think.

Hare & Tortoise - handmade sushi, sashimi, ramen noodle and fried rice dishes.  We really like their food and they do collection.  You can order via Deliveroo too.

India India on Northfields Avenue are doing deliveries.  They do very tasty food and it was delivered within the time stated.

The Griffin in Brentford has been offering full Sunday roasts (obviously on Sundays)Wednesday - burgersFriday - Cod & chips or Thai curriesall for collection only I understand that places offering delivery via Deliveroo or whatever are charging a 35% surcharge for delivery.  My niece told me of her delivery from Maxims which cost over £110 for just a few dishes and my nephew paid £45 for 2 curries to be delivered so be warned.

A friend had a takeaway from Kathmandu last night, an Indian restaurant on Northfield Avenue.  She said it was excellent

Bronek's fish place is open on Northfield'sPersian Palace do HUGE portions and v tasty!

Of those, in the last 4 weeks I've eaten at:- Maxim - very good but pricey.  Very generous portions. - L'oro Di Napoli - also good but I wish I'd put the oven on before leaving home cos their thin pizzas cool down quickly.  Very fresh food. - Deep Sea - good value and exactly what you'd expect. - Ya Sham - slightly pricey but good grub.  Their falafel are amazing. - Haweli - one of the best Indian restaurants I've been to. I think the Red Lion / Santa Maria pizza restaurant is also open, opposite Ealing Studios.

Message:The open ones I've found locally are as follows.  I know some do deliveries but I've collected on the 3 or 4 occasions when I've ordered a meal:- Maxim, Northfield Avenue- L'oro di Napoli, Uxbridge Road, Hanwell- The Green pub - pizza, Lower Boston Manor Road, Hanwell- Ran Thai, Uxbridge Road, Hanwell- Nuki's Kitchen, Thai, Northfield Avenue- Deep Sea, fish and chips, Greenford Avenue, Hanwell- Ya Sham, Lebanese, Uxbridge Road, West Ealing- Papaya, Northfield Avenue- Haweli, Uxbridge Road, West Ealing- Mumbai Avenue, The Avenue, West EalingAny others?

Even if you don't want to use them, Deliveroo will show you which restaurants are offering takeaway locally and then you can ring them direct.
