Getting and Ealing Borough Library Card During Lockdown

Does anyone know if it is possible to be issued an Ealing borough library card during lockdown? I was interested in getting access to the audiobooks they have available online.

Ealing will issue a temporary online card to you during lockdown. You can then complete the process of validating the card once the libraries reopen but you can borrow ebooks and audiobooks in the meantime. Just go to the libraries section on the council web site and click 'Join a Library'.

If you go to the Ealing Council web site it is recommended to download the Libby app but when I entered our library card number it didn't recognise it - it was then suggested I go to the library to sort out the issue which wasn't very helpful.
