Libraries shut

'After the most recent government announcement on socialdistancing, Ealing Council is suspending library services untilfurther notice.Please follow Public Health England advice and unless yourvisit to the library is unavoidable try not to come to the library.So are libraries shut? Why could we not be given at least a day's notice to stock up on books?

That may be the case, but the staff who work there, who've been through enough recently due to the council's shambolic management, shouldn't have to put their own health at risk.
