97 confirmed cases in Ealing

Confirmed means hospitalised I suppose as no one else is tested.I know Ealing is a large borough but this is now one of the highest in London.So sad that it came to this - so many red flags ignored along the way from the Dr in Wuhan to the outbreak in Italy. Experts have been planning their response to a pandemic for as long as I can remember, but it feels, as a helpless observer, that this has been a classic 'swiss cheese' situation.

And so they should be.I don't think anyone here believes the Government has a good handle on it nor knows what it's doing. I also think people don't trust much of what they are being told.Still, we could have had Corbyn & Abbott in charge, now there's a thought!  😨

I thought only people who were hospitalised were tested now?I know for the earlier cases there was testing.The people at home are not confirmed cases unless they have been tested.Does anyone know if there are still drive through testing facilities and testing pods?

Confirmed DOES NOT mean hospitalised.
Only the most severe cases are hospitalised while most are simply isolated at home according to the WHO website.
