Indeed they do but as Apple on their site only place a three year life 'expectancy' on any iPhone  I will continue to avoid the overpriced things like the plague.

John Lewis give a 2 year warranty on ALL smartphones.

Neighbour's son has the latest iPhone11 plus the Apple Watch and Apple earbuds.This little 'combo' cost hime just short of £1800!£1800 to make a ruddy phone call and connect to the 'net. I do this quite adeqautely on cheap Nokia.Don't understand the 'cachet' of iPhones at all.

I agree with you. Terrible warrenty considering the price. However every one wants an I phone, baffles me.

Yes, update to 10.3.4 or you are stuffed!The iPhone 5 is seven years old, many still work faultlessly but Apple only place a three year lifespan and support guarantee on any iPhone and of course will deny all liability should it brick your phone outside the pathetic 12 month warranty period (you get two years warranty on a £20 Nokia).For the warranty reason alone I will never buy an iPhone.
