Stop The Towers

Many thanks to the members and campaigners of "Stop The Towers" for producing and issuing the images of the impact of the new towers on our Borough.Quite horrific really.  And I hope the developers are not playing the game of deliberately over-extending their ambitions but will be more than happy if the planners cut it back to, say, 15 floors.In my opinion anything above 8 would be unacceptable for these two sites and set an awful precedent for other locations around the Borough.

I suspect the developers do indeed generate CGI images but probably don't release the less flattering results.Of course the problem here is two separate schemes by two different developers.  Presumably each one will only show the local surrounds of what is actually built and not proposed by the other?

It should be a requirement that all developers of tall buildings have to produce CGI created to set standards showing views of their towers. It isn't acceptable that this has to be done by residents for people to get a true picture of the impact of a scheme.
