IIt’s amazing no one was interested in Warren Farm for years, it was a dump as rightly pointed out by Colin, suddenly something that will benefit local people and also benefit QPR, a very small group but well-funded and backed by a legal team jump on a bandwagon to keep it as what?They lost several court battles wasting thousands of pounds and also legal fees by both Ealing Council and QPR, even though some of this was awarded back in costs.Now the latest way to disrupt this going ahead, Warren Farm has miraculously become a nature reserve overnight, my guess this is because Ealing has left it to rot over the last few years, these people will never accept defeat, whether the rights or wrongs of how the council have awarded the land, surely they need to understand actually a lot of local people want this to go ahead, local schools will benefit, local sports teams will benefit, from the community facility, something that QPR themselves have won several awards for, come on let’s just get on with it and get it built.
