Lets support local BYO entrepreneurial resturants!

We’ve had three meals in BroneksAll on the same night.You’d think a fish restaurant could cook a bit of cod, embarrassing to send it back to kitchen that many times (could’ve swum back first time).Then to be gruffly told “if you don’t want to pay then don’t pay” in a certain tone was the final nail.We cashed in our chips and left before anyone got battered Never been back

Simon, have they closed. There is a post dated 'May' (but no year) saying they are closing for pasta but Pizzas will still be 'available from The Codfather'.

My vote goes to Matese Pasta Lab on Uxbridge Road. Great food, very welcoming, kid friendly, amazing value and a 5 hygiene rating!

Kiraku = 2 starsAtariya = 1 star

How about Kiraku and Atariya in Ealing Common. Unusally for Ealing these are restaurants that I would travel to even if I lived elsewhere. The Japanese food is amazing in both, not cheap but well worth it.Don't know the hygiene rating though!

Totally agree with NV - any restaurant below a 3 should be avoided. I simply wont risk my family's health on a place that can't comply with basic food standards.There were a few other restaurants in the above posts with less than good hygene ratings:- India India - 2- Bronek's - 2

Peter, I would but as a restaurant can re-apply at any time for a regrading (obviously having completed any works or raised standards) then I give anything with two stars or fewer a very wide berth.

Have looked up the London Seafood  rating, you are 100% correct, having been there twice in the last month with excellent experience of food, toilets etc both times  I don't understand why they would have received such a low rating.  They could of course have carried out the major improvements that were recommended back in February. I would recommend you give them a go and use  first hand experience to judge.

Ya Sham and India India are great.I am put off the London Seafood Restaurant by the 1 star hygiene rating. Give me Bronek's on Northfield Avenue for fish.

Molana on the Uxbridge road was BYO last time I was there and the persian food was fantastic
