wish things were different among our Politicians

I now only hear it as a jokeThe  EYES to the right  -- and the NOSE to the left.What a farce they are presenting themselves to be, leaders of disunity and embarrassment to our Nation. Our so called Friends who form the EU are well aware that BRITAIN was glad to agree to FREE MOVEMENT of member countries within the EU, but NOT Free movement to enter and do as they like, even though it could cause problems to their host country.Many of these people want to replace our cultural ways of living by an alien one Where this is was all leading to. We let them... being too afraid t of being labelled with false discripts. Give  the EU the CHURCHILL sign and we should leave and let EU try to strike an acceptable DEAL with US,

We are definitely better informed but as always there is a lot to learn. Maybe we need a 21 month extension with Theresa May bringing back the same deal 43 times before we truly understand what a mess we are in. I have felt at times that i have learned a lot one week and have veered back and forth on various thoughts. As a Eurosceptic who voted remain i feel that still my initial instincts about what would result from negotiation were correct. The Pick and Mix suggested by many was never going to be acceptable. I favour an EFTA option now in which we are in the common market but out of the european union!! That should be enough to satisfy many on both sides. But obviously not the ERG head bangers. But some of these head bangers talked about this option during the campaign. i love seeing the videos where so many people say one thing before the referendum and now say something completely different. Our Politicians of all sides of the debate have let us badly down and the russian agents together with aaron banks have caused a lot of trouble. Part of russian support for Brexit and Trump was to destabilise NATO and whilst we are agonising over brexit our pockets will be getting pinched!!

Well put Dennis. Democracy isn’t limited to one moment in time in June 2016. It’s constantly evolving, otherwise we’d never have any election.After 2 1/2 years people are better informed in their decision making now.

The UK made three attempts at joining the EU, the first two were rejected in 1963 and 1967. We joined in 1969. That was followed by the 5 June 1975 referendum that resulted in a 67% vote to stay in the EU.If having a third referendum flies in the face of democracy, why wasn't the second referendum the same?
