North Acton Square.

Hmmmm, how many more years to, errrr, you know, complete some very simple brickwork/concreting, pathways and landscaping?Ready by Christmas 2019?Of course, no-one is ever culpable for these fiascos are they?

As soon as Ealing Council is involved in ANYTHING, expect recurring & ongoing delays, regular cost over-runs and general all round incompetence.What a great reputation to achieve eh, requires determined & genuine effort that does.  😂

The new steps are closed (from late September) to December ... so maybe that is the target date for completion.I have sent a message to Cllr Hitesh Tailor to see if he knows.

However, digging further back into the archives shows this in EalingExtra from Winter 2016 ...."The plan is for work to start in 2017 and the hope is for it to open later in the year, when it will be available to host community activities and events."

There have been suggestions that the Chiltern Line through West Ruislip should be re-connected for HS2 and Crossrail, with new stations at North Acton and Park Royal to link with the Piccadilly Line. Space has been reserved at Park Royal, currently an empty field.

What concerns me is whether there are going to be any changes to the station itself - if it is still two turnstiles in and out then it will be nothing but a cosmetic white elephant

Please be patient dear chap. The problem is they need a power supply from an exploding sun to power their kettle. Until they can boil a kettle health and safety permits the urine to be extracted.
