Ealing Council proposes abolishing Ward Fora (Forums?) to save money, money, fora, or both to go?

Dear Peeps,Ealing Council is mulling over the proposal that Ward Fora(Forums?) could be abolished to save money. Does it intend to abolish the political operation of the fora or just remove their budgets, or both? Is there to be an alternative?

I see the need to save money but it would be better to cut same amount from Councilwide budgets. #EalingHour

Interesting how these things get vaguely mentioned and then suddenly they arrive. floated to get a reaction before the actual proposal is made. But this would also prevent people with an interest in their community engaging with the council.
