Please use Community Recycling Banks Thoughtfully

For safety reasons CLOTHES & SHOE BANKS are designed so that people cannot get into them - so you can't put huge bags of clothing and shoes in.Please tie pairs of shoes together - use laces or string or carrier or loo roll bags etc.  Post these in in their pairs so that the banks don't get blocked up and everybody else can use them too.CARDBOARD BANKSPlease FLAtten Cardboard so that there is more space for everybody else to use these. Please BE BOTHERED as like it or not it is a SHARED WORLD!

You also have the choice of giving your clothing and shoes to a charity shop.  Obviously they prefer these clean, not needing mending and ideally in season due to limited space.You could arrange something officially at the office so that there are more donations for a charity shop and these are collected by the charity (check that they collect) or that you can deliver in lunchtime so that the problem of charity shops being closed on the way to work and on the way home is avoided.Charities for the homeless welcome sleeping bags and warm clothing particularly in cold weather.
