Our user unfriendly council url

I go to report a food waste bin not emptied yesterday. After seven screens all I get is 'Unfortunately you are not able to report this service as it is either outside the reporting period or this service is not due for collection this week. Missed collections need to be reported by 1pm the day after they were missed.' One was not quick to report it thanks to this laborious process. Should I dump it on the Bell's doorstep?

Perhaps a more careful crew?  I wonder if the residents are as careful and considerate as those in Perivale at how they present their food waste bins?  Is there as great a take up of the system?

I have found Greenford collections poor where Perivale was fine.

It's exasperating.  I've learnt this the hard way too.  Luckily we're pretty good at making hardly any food waste - it's mostly citrus and onion skins which can't go in the wormery and any extra banana skins when the worms have already had enough.  They slow down eating their way through the food waste when it is cold.  We usually manage two weeks easily.  We're lucky it is a weekly rather than fortnightly collection!  If the second week's collection gets missed then it gets worrying.
