Making recycling easier
I am finding the Freecycle site very frustrating to work with - seem to wait forever to sign up, keep getting error messages etc. Could we have a Freecycle style section on this Newsletter? For instance we have an old (virtually antique) valve amplifier to give away - loathe to take to dump as the valves are now rare - and don't know how to find anyone who could use it.In Germany residents of one town (at least) leave unwanted but serviceable household items out on the doorstep on the last Thursday of every month which anyone can take (uncollected items of course have to be taken back by the householder) - what a great idea, can we do that?
