BP Connect Garage Popes Lane North/Gunnersbury

Trying to fill up with fuel to get about business, the pumps are often taken by shoppers getting coffee, croissants, groceries etc from the M & S instore.Is it not possible to have segregated tills for people who want to buy vastly inflated goods & put a pump out of use for ages??Alternatively move your vehicle to free a pump & make space, so those of us who need to get on, can do so

exactly, but are the garages to blame. Costa, M & S selling their wares.Do your bloody shopping elsewhere so us drivers can get on with deliveries

including buses represented by the so wonderful TFL & Khan, the anti car mayor.Typical examples West Ealing Chaplel Rd. No keep clear sign but the majority of buses block it.

I would like to see people who ignore Keep Clear signs fined in the same way as those who block box junctions. It appears that some drivers cannot see the words written in huge capitals on the road.

Also worrying is if cars coming out of Popes Lane sit on the Keep Clear entrance to the garage, you get caught stopping in the Box Junction.  Am expecting the Penalty any day.

I agree, people tend to park right next to the garage opening, which is sometimes a problem as you can't access the front pumps easily, and they spend time in the garage doing their shopping.  If you aren't buying petrol, park in a designated space away from the garage entrance.

i have seen people do it at various petrol stations. we are a very selfish and lazy country

That's right. I'm not sure why anyone would put their car by a pump if they were just using the shop. What evidence is there that people do this?

There are parking spaces. I would never park at a pump just to buy from the shop.

There should be parking there i would have thought. i know the one at perivale does. but i know what you mean. as i try not to use bp/shell garages after getting cards cloned.
