o:The Licensing Department,Ealing Council,Perceval House,Ealing, London.Re: Assyrian Centre located at the junction of Temple Road and the South Ealing Road, Ealing, London, W5. – Application number 18LIC 54301 PREM,To whom it may concern, 25th September 2018,Dear Sir/Madam,Densely populated urban environments are complex and we benefit from having a process such as this which allows the representative views of the community as a whole to be considered when there are changes proposed that will affect the dynamics, well-being, and cohesiveness of the local community as a whole.I think that the proposed licensing applications should not be allowed as the complex, densely populated, urban environment that is South Ealing as the immediate area has already been stretched further than it can handle and that the increased proposed activity around the Assyrian Centre will serve to put undue stress and strain on the existing residents and on the local infrastructure.I would like to point out that there is limited parking in the area that would be unable to support the extra requirements put on it by these licenses. I would also like to point out that the area is highly residential with many young families living around the Assyrian Centre to make use of the nearby Little Ealing School, and other infant, primary, and childcare facilities for whom the extra nightime noise would be detrimental. There are also large sheltered housing complexes located close by in the form of Lindsay House and the Cherry Tree Sheltered Housing which all also benefit from the relative peace and night time quiet and that the extension of activities of the Assyrian Centre into the small hours of the morning (in particular Saturday and Sunday licensing up until two a.m.) would be detrimental to this amenity.I would like to add that the Assyrian Centre building is very old and lacks sound insulation and functions rather like a drum which loud music is played or dancing takes place echoing throughout the surrounding roads making it less than suitable for such activities from a physical perspective. It is on these basis (among others) that I would please ask that the Assyrian Centre licenseS are not extended further.Yours faithfully,Mark Raymond (-Laskowski),33 Creighton Road,Ealing,London, W5 4SH.
