Loads of Roadworks, don't bother driving through South Ealing

Fine display of Cadent-supervised Gas Holes dug around South Ealing Tube Stration on the South Ealing Road, maturing nicely, no activity since last week, temporary traffic lights restricting road to ne lane. Traffic chaos. Water People doing something on Little Ealing Lane and also have temporary traffic lights near South Ealing Road Junction restricting traffic to one lane. Cadent Gas People look dug in for the next week.

The search for the phantom gas leak near South Ealing tube has been going on for years. They come, they dig a few holes causing traffic chaos, they fill them in again, someone else smells gas, they come again, they dig new holes, new traffic chaos, fill them in - repeat ad infanitum.

Looks like the excavations around South Ealing Tube Station are expanding under the aegis of Cadent. Best avoided Tuesday

The lights o/s that Roddys bar are unnecessary. The road is fully reinstated & fit for traffic.Temporary lights at West Ealing jct Northfields went bang last week & stopped working.There should be a regular patrol by the TM company & a contact number to get someone out pronto to clear them.I know someone who removes lights themselves during inactivity if its safe to do so

Obviously the Cadent Gas Holes are affecting journey time on the 65 bus route, and Water Holes (no pun intended) are affecting journey times on the E3 bus route. Pinch, punch, first roadwork hole of the month.
