I came across one gentleman on the 65 bus this evening who lives in South Ealing. He was coming back from Acton Library where he had travelled to earlier in the hope of using the Inernet access. Sadly at closing time there were still twenty people before him waiting to use a terminal. He lives close to Northfields Library, however it is part time and is closed for more than half the week (opens 31 hours a week apparently). Normally as he is not that computer-literate he would have used Ealing Central Library Internet access. This does not auger well for Ealing Council's planned Central Ealing "smaller library", perhaps a bigger library with more PCs?
