Graham, Strangely enough I have not had dissimilar thoughts. If residents were given "Ealing" cards associated with their number plate and allowed to park anywhere that was not a red-route, double or single yellow line (during the appropriate exeption periods) what effect would that have? It would cut out the commuter parket from other Boroughs while giving Ealing residents to shop and park where needed.
