Tree Pruning

The lovely trees along The Avenue W13 seem to have been massacred & cut right back to the point of looking horrible.Not all of them for some reason.Can the trees along Scotch Common be trimmed at the BOTTOM?One blocks the footway so you have to duck & most of the footway is blocked, Second by the pedestrian refuge near The Duke Kent where pedestrians cant see approaching cars to cross safely.Thankyou

Unfortunately not Commrade Bell and the Town Planners they have allowed more than 24 Healthy trees with best of all amenity values to be cut down without blinking an eyelid for greedy offshore developers to build 2 flats in the back garden of 1 of Actons only locally listed properties!!

Trees are a 'luxury' now?  What planet are you on?  Certainly not this one.  Trees are vital to our health, particularly in the grossly polluted borough of Ealing, one of the worse in the country with a very real and serious threat to health, as well as the planet as a whole.  Hope your post was tongue in cheek or God help us all.

Cut the trees back as far as possible. It will save money long term. We just cannot afford these luxuries now.

Supervision of Trees are ulitmately LBE Tree Officers whether on Public Land or protected by TPO's. Officers are hopeless...

I do not know who supervises pollarding but they appear to be arboricultural vandals. They need to look down and deal with the resulting basal growth.
