Duke Of Kent Scotch Common

Smashing refurb, inside & out. Clearly no expense spared.The garden completely overhauled with an abundance of tables, booths, stands. An extended bar, BBQ area, kids play area & artificial turf to prevent ones best clobber getting muddy.As with all Fullers pubs, a great management team ( long serving "governor") along with  excellent hard working & efficient barworkers.Go look see, a pleasure

I believe it was named after the father of Queen Victoria who was the Duke of Kent. He owned Castle Hill Lodge which was demolished later on.

Oh! I was wondering what the Duke of Kent was doing on Scotch Common as it didn't sound like his normal stamping ground.
