i feel very uncomfortable about the entire shoddy affair and treatment of Ealing council and PMGT. Our Solicitors letters went over to them on Monday 30th April...as always no response. Said letters were posted by us on the door and hatch of the cafe late Monday 30th April. In the very early hours of Tuesday morning (1st May 2018) a local resident out jogging in the park alerted us to to the fact there were 3 locksmiths at the kiosk/cafe changing the locks. She tried to prevent them but could not. When we arrived at the cafe, we pleaded with them to allow us access to get our possessions/equipment/food etc. They refused. We waited all day as we were told somebody from Ealing council were coming to speak to us at 11am. We waited but nobody. We tried calling as did local residents nobody from the council/PMGT would take calls.Late in the evening we got a call from Lambert Smith & Hampton management agents for Ealing council) They assured us that our property was safe and secure for up to 14 days (Torts) document. Nobody could touch my possessions without me being present. Or so it seemed. The following morning several residents phoned me to say my possessions were being thrown out very rapidly outside by Ealing council workers. By the time I got to the cafe, fridges and freezers had been unplugged and placed in the open air in the pouring rain. Food, equipment, cleaning products all being dumped in plastic bags and dumped in their speed to get rid of me. It was horrific, no thought no allowance for my years of hard work, no respect for a business I had grown. Food products wasted, equipment damaged, till missing, money unaccounted for. I was frantic and phoned Chris Bunting at Ealing council. No interest, found the whole thing amusing.I am still in a state of shock at such behaviour.
