Just to update you all.Alan only arrived at the cafe this morning as someone alerted him to the fact his things were being hurredly removed. This was despite a verbal assurance from Lambert Smith and Hampton late yesterday evening that his things were safe. Nobody was allowed to touch them and he had 14 days to pay the baliffs to meet with them at the cafe and remove all of his equipment, goods and produce. I do believe having spoken to the guy dealing with it at Lambert Smith and Hampton he was unaware of what was about to take place and Ealing council have not been truthful to him.on arrival all freezers, fridges had been taken out, one freezer with door broken off in their hurry to get it out before Alan or any of us arrived. Food and possessions unceremoniously being thrown into bags and out. We tried to gain access to the freezers and fridges and the till and money but this had been locked in the courtyard of the Rickyard courtyard. Nobody senior from Ealing council there or PMGT, hiding as always. Items strewn over the floor. It was so distressing to witnesses .. 10 years of hard work destroyed. 3 letters from our solicitor to Ealing council, social pantry and PMGT in th least 2 days and not one response.Alan phoned the delightful Chris Bunting at Ealing council (not)...(deputy director of leisure) 0208 825 6429 or mobile 07931454133. Alan said was this any way to treat him after 10 years of loyalty to Ealing council and the community. Incredibly Chris Bunting thought the whole situation funny and didn’t give a damn. More astonishingly we have had an email from Gareth Shaw this afternoon and another local resident has heard from Paul conlan. They haven’t wanted to know up to now nor has Julian Bell. Why now? Sorry silly me, there are elections tomorrow. As for Binda Rai, I would ask does she even exist. The way we have been treated has been nothing short of contemptable. I ask you all to contact Chris Bunting and your local councillors. We have now as of this morning lost everything. They didn’t even allow us time to hire a van and if it wasn’t for the help from some local residents gave helping us to salvage what we could, even this would have been lost.Still nothing from the council, still no word from those self elected arrogant out of touch trustees and still no response to our solicitor. I would say Zac Goldsmith our mp has been superb.i am asking you all to meet with us to present our petition and prevent social pantry taking over. They still wont answer the questions we have raised...and why? Because they can’t....
