New Gunnersbury Park Cafe

We tried the new cafe today.First impressions - chaotic queueing system, very slow service on drinks.  It took me 13 minutes from joining the queue to leaving with an americano, a mocha and a 'nutty' brownie.Cost was £7.60 for the 3 items. Coffee very weak, almost tasteless, mocha  didn't taste of coffee or chocolate, brownie tasted of cardboard. We'll give it another try at a less busy time, just to be fair, but if the coffee doesn't improve, we won't go back again.Not as good as the old cafe - and they no longer sell the delicious ice cream, which was one of the major reasons for patronising the original establishment.All in all a disappointment.

Went there yesterday, looks very smart compared to the old set up and they were serving fresh wood-fired pizza and gourmet burgers. Three beers on tap and a selection of wines and spirits. No queue at all and plenty of staff about. Yes it's pricey compared to the previous incarnation but it's also a lot nicer.

I came across this on the Save Spencer Cafe page.
