EalingToday - thank you for highlighting the plight of the lease holders of the current Rickyard and how conveniently Ealing Council have passed the buck on the shoddy treatment of the lease holders. Really Council Spokesperson; do you think we believe this was all done above board. You might have followed a "procedure" that makes the tender process look legitimate but no doubt weighted in favour of your preferred new supplier or the preference for a "big company" rather than a family run business that has built up the loyal clientele in the park. I suggest this loyal clientele is what will allow you to charge more for the lease and cut out the small family business.There has been no consultation, no debate, and sorry but this just smells bad. I mean very bad indeed. Perhaps, really a little sordid, perhaps not quite legitimate.
